At Last! Congress finally does something GREAT!!!
HOORAY!!!
We just got really good news this
morning!
Congress finally approved the 181C deduction for Independent
Films!!! What does that mean? If you attended our November 20th
event, "The Bigger Picture", you would know that it means potentially
huge tax benefits for many Americans holding too much cash at the end
of the year. If you weren't there, NO WORRIES! Here is the scoop!
Anyone who invests in Independent Film will receive a
federal deduction up to 15M (with a 3-year loss carry forward)! It is a
win/win. If you, your company or any of your associates needs a federal
deduction before the end of the year, have them contact us immediately.
We have film packages designed just for you!
On top of the federal deduction, we will be shooting these films
in New York State, which means an additional 30% rebate from the State for
the "hard costs" of making the film AND changes in the
accounting proceedures make it possible to receive your credits right away.
Not only can you get the deduction, you can get the rebate!
Now is the time. Catch it before it runs out at midnight
on 12/31/14

Note: This is not a solicitation to invest. As always,
with any such opportunity you should consult a tax professional.

The Best is Yet to Come
WOW! How time flies when you’re having fun! Last Sunday (August 17, 2014) marked the 5th Anniversary of Willy-Gilly Productions, Inc. We are most grateful to still be in ‘the big (and still growing) game,’ given all of the events that have transpired since we first opened our doors in 2009. We have endured failed major funders, dishonest investors, insincere officials, corrupt theater operators, inept local administrators, public misinformation and the worst economy in nearly a century. Nonetheless, we remain committed to bringing the nearly $2 Trillion Entertainment and Media industry to the Hudson Valley in a very BIG way, despite the growing efforts by Hollywood to crush the Independent Spirit through massive consolidation and collusion. We look forward to making some HUGE announcements in the coming months, regarding new ‘state of art’ facilities development, our productions and distribution that will potentially bring thousands of sustainable jobs and Billions of dollars in revenue to the region. Our first thanks go to God for His endless blessings and then, to ALL of the many good people who have worked with us and supported our efforts over these early years. To everyone out there, like the ‘chairman of the board,’ ‘old blue eyes,’ Frank Sinatra so beautifully crooned, “The best is yet to come!” Stay tuned! ‘Nuff said! €8-.D

Spring Is Here!!! (Except for those occasional 30 degree nights!!!)
Spring
is here (except for those occasional 30 degree nights)!
Spring
is here and so is William Esper’s new book, “An Actor’s Guide to Creating a
Character” with introduction by Patricia Heaton (Home Improvement.)
The
William Esper Studio located at 208
W. 37th Street in Manhattan has been named one of the top 25
acting schools in the world. Before
opening his school, he was Sanford Meisner’s protégé and the heir apparent of
The Neighborhood Playhouse’ Acting Program.
What
does all this mean to the Hudson
Valley ?
It
means that the Hudson
Valley has local access
to this world-renowned method of acting right here in our own back yard!
At
the “Acting Anyone Academy” in Goshen ,
New York , Master Actor David
Patrick Wilson studied hundreds of hours with BOTH Sanford Meisner and William
Esper.
New
classes are forming at the Acting Anyone Academy in the authentic “Meisner
Method”. If you are interested in a
professional career in acting or if your children show an exceptional natural
talent, don’t miss out on your opportunity to study with a “Master” of this
technique who has proven its value in the marketplace.
David’s
career includes “The 7Ups”, “Grey Lady Down”, “Eddie and the Cruisers”, “Magnum
PI” , “Dallas the Early Years”, a TV series with Ed Asner entitled “The Bronx
Zoo”, “Coins in the Fountain” with Lonnie Anderson, “Unspeakable Acts” and
“Collar” with Tom Sizemore, Rebecca DeMornay and Richard Roundtree to name just
a few. You can find out more at his IMDB
site:
In
addition to being blessed with great acting teachers, David was likewise graced
to study voice with one of the legends of voice training, Seth Riggs. His
“Speech Level Singing”, technique has proven to be the healthiest way to work
as a singer. Seth trained Michael
Jackson, Janet Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Michael Bolton, Julio
Iglesias, Toni Braxton, Bernadette Peters and all of the American Idol Singers
(i.e. Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Stoddard, etc.). David works with his voice clients privately
at the offices of Willy-Gilly Productions, 222 Greenwich Avenue , Goshen ,
NY 10924 .
