We did not want to let the week escape us without a word about a great new place for young musicians and their bands to work on their chops. We dropped in last Saturday and we'll be out there again this week to check the local talent. THE PLACE WAS SMOKIN'! Lon Alpert has put together a great room where budding rock stars can hone their skills. Between Campbell Hall and Goshen, NY, Clover Knolls Farm, 3142 Rte. 207 is the new home of 'THE VENUE,' where local bands can workout FREE!. Bring your unit and your crew, invite all your friends and family and kick out the jams! (Audience attendance is only $10.00 for a whole night of happening bands, starting at 5:00pm.) For young players looking for a big room experience, the stage is set, the sound is hot, the lights are lit and the room rocks. Or, if you are just looking to have a really great time, make it on out! Food and non-alcoholic drinks are available. Dine at 'The Tuscan' and step right in to a place where the hottest young bands in Orange County will be getting it on BIG TIME!!!
