Of Marilyn and Monroe

Of Marilyn and Monroe

It is no secret that Marilyn was the greatest Monroe in history, James notwithstanding!

Considering our current foreign policy and the woeful state of business affairs in this country and how we handle our foreign commitments, that is no small statement.

We (Willy Gilly) continue to move forward against all odds and every obstacle. It is only by the grace of God and our sheer perseverance that we continue to operate as a legitimate business, which leads us to our next Monroe.

We continue to negotiate the closure of our business with the Town of Monroe for the purpose of re-opening and operating the Monroe Cinemas. We have put together a comprehensive development plan for the venue that has the potential of revitalizing the entire Village and in fact the surrounding region. Not just a movie theater any longer, it will provide an entertainment hub for many diverse activities from film, both mainstream and independent to live entertainment to music and art, education and commerce.

We look forward to realizing the dreams and aspirations of not just us, but of everyone who has long awaited the rebirth of this extraordinary edifice.

Look for us to open the doors again to the general public this summer.

Regarding our productions, we remain on hold while our funding partners await the IMF and Homeland Security to release the capital that we have been promised.

After surviving the desert that was 2012, we know that God has great things in store for us in this realm as well.

We will be launching production, regardless, this summer on at least two (2) films adding a third later this fall.

We are wrapping up spring sessions at Acting Anyone Academy. New classes will be forming for the summer. We look forward to using the Monroe Theaters to support technical training and actors training for the entertainment industry. It’s all about Jobs, Jobs, Jobs! Less Talk, More Action!

We have had conversations SUNY OCC to bring course work to their curriculum. We have also been approached by an investment banking firm about the infusion of additional capital into our programs related to the new venture at Monroe Cinemas.

TODAY IS THE DAY! LIVE IT AND LOVE IT!!!
